Position: Director of Sales – B2B Brand Partnerships

Established, highly dynamic strategic brand licensing partnerships group of The Valen Group is seeking a sales hunter. We are looking for a strong relationship maker to connect represented client brands with partners who can develop amazing new products. We seek out the right people who have a strong cultural alignment to ours. We set clear expectation and deadlines, do what we say and find a way to make it happen. You do not need to have Brand Licensing or Partnership experience, we will train you in our process.

Valen Group Strategic Brand Licensing group has an excellent opportunity for a motivated salesperson. You must be hard-working and have a strong desire to succeed to meet our expectations. Demonstrated success in selling B2B services with experience selling Fortune 500 or large organizations. Ability to navigate complex organization to find the decision-maker, build trust and overcome adversity to change. Selling to consumer products marketers is a plus. We are looking for exceptional hunting skills and someone who wants to grow and be rewarded for their results.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years’ experience with demonstrated B2B sales success
  • Open to coaching and being the best sales technician you can be
  • Comfortable with using/trying new technology

You should have a tremendous desire to earn over your current income. You must have prior annual earnings (salary and commission/bonus) of at least $40,000 to $50,000 and have a tremendous desire to earn up to $75,000-$100,000+ a year. We have a professional, creative environment that is suited to those who like to be involved on the cutting edge of sales and marketing methods. We use online systems to coordinate and collaborate, such as a CRM and MS Teams Platform. In this era of content driven sales and marketing, social media and visual design experience to support practice building activities with the market is a desired plus. We are customer driven, excellent communicators and work well together as a team. Position Summary

This position is responsible for revenue generating activities and client management for the firm including sales, sales materials development, relationship management and identifying/negotiating long-term brand licensing partnerships. This is a high impact, highly visible position with growth potential because of delivering licensees to clients.

Location: Cincinnati (Blue Ash)

Valen Group Brand Licensing provides a base salary with compensation heavily weighted toward delivering new clients and believes in the investment in and development of its people.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

  • 1-3 years experience in B2B sales with demonstrable success
  • Achievement oriented to drive leads and tenacity to close deals
  • Organized, focused and self-starter, strong work ethic
  • Experience developing and presenting compelling presentations
  • Business negotiation skills
  • College Degree is required, MBA is a plus
