Jeff Dotson is Vice President of Strategic Brand Licensing at Valen Group, bringing over 25 years of experience as a brand licensing professional and strategic business consultant working with many of the world’s leading companies and brands.
Mr. Dotson has designed, sold, and managed licensed business opportunities resulting in billions of dollars in new sales across a diverse range of product categories and industries. Among the many licenses he has personally placed and managed are the Jenn-Air Grill License (over $700 million in retail), Jack Daniel’s Grilling Sauce (over $400 million in retail sales with national grocery ACV exceeding 90%), the Magic Chef Small Kitchen Appliance License (over $800 million in retail sales), Goodyear Racing Tools, Tie Downs, and Lift Equipment (over $250 million in retail sales), and GE Digital Still Cameras (over $250 million in retail sales).
Jeffrey holds a BA in Political Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara, an MBA from San Diego State University, and an MSBA in International Business from San Diego State University.
